November 18, 2020

The company will invest almost PLN 40 million in the latest equipment and technological solutions in plants in Ozorków and Tubądzin. After the expansion of the Logistics Centre in Cedrowice, worth PLN 80 million, this is another big step towards even better customer service and perfect product quality.

In 2016, the Tubądzin Group launched one of the most modern plants in this part of Europe. The production plant in Sieradz was built in record time and was the first in Poland to start producing tiles in the 120 x 240 cm size. Since then, the popularity of large format tiles has continued to grow - they are found in bathrooms, living rooms, corridors, but also in investment spaces and on building facades. Thanks to the advanced Italian technology the Sieradz plant is able to produce tiles with any drawing, pattern, graphic or photograph.

The expanded Logistics Centre in Cedrowice will be launched soon - the investment was worth PLN 80 million. And this is not the end, Tubądzin is planning the next steps. In order to meet the growing demand of customers for large-format and rectified products, as well as perfect quality of tile decoration, two production plants - in Ozorków and Tubądzin - will be modernized in the coming months.

As far as the plant in Ozorków is concerned, the most important investment is the purchase of a new press and modernization of one of the technological lines for the production of 120 x 60 cm format, which is currently produced only in the Sieradz plant. In addition, it was decided to purchase a digital printer of the latest generation, which will allow to obtain unique decorations.

Tubądzin was the first company in Poland to introduce tiles with a satin finish, which feels like velvet. Following the increasing expectations of customers, accustomed to the highest quality products, the company is also building a whole new polishing line in the Ozorków plant.

Ceramika Tubądzin I, in turn, will launch a new Vetroza department, dealing with decorative tiles . Tubądzin has been famous for the most sophisticated decorative elements for years - from satin-finish tiles to three-dimensional, additionally decorated shapes in a design, which is unprecedented on the market.

Currently the company is planning to build a new print shop, which will increase its production capacity and allow Ceramika Tubądzin to expand its range of decorative tiles even further.

This year is full of challenges and surprises for us. However, the pandemic did not cause us to stop thinking about the company's growth, focusing only on current activities. Right now, we are doing everything we can to reinforce our leadership position in the industry, both in terms of the quality of our products, the design and used technologies. Thanks to loyal customers, partners and contractors, the company managed to enter the third quarter of 2020 with a good financial result, which proved that manufacturers of top-quality materials will defend themselves on the market. New investments, worth almost PLN 40 million, allow us to look into the future with hope ," says Mirosław Jędrzejczyk, President of the Tubądzin Group Management Board.

Currently, the company's technological capabilities can be admired on the facade of the expanded Logistics Centre in Cedrowice. The office part of the facade was decorated with graphics by Joanna Nowak, a designer from the Tubądzin Group design department. Two joined hands are a metaphor of the completion of the creative process and reminder that at the end of technologically advanced processes, there is a beautiful design, which unites all the people involved in the making of the Tubądzin Group products. This graphic also shows a new trend in the design of buildings and spaces. Facade cladding becomes not only a protective material, but also has an aesthetic function, giving the space a new meaning, harmonizing it with its surroundings. This new area in the operations of Ceramika Tubądzin is already highly appreciated by architects and customers looking for new, unique solutions.

As many as 479 elements were used in this three-dimensional installation - the largest is a 120 x 240 cm tile, and the smallest is a 52 x 45 x 27 cm triangle. Three-dimensional elements of the painting and one of the facade walls were made of Cielo e Terra panels, designed by Dorota Koziara.
