Adriatic marble
Brač is the largest of the Dalmatian islands and it's the location of one of Croatia's highest peaks. The mines of phenomenally white marble, which decorates residences all over the world, are hidden in this mountain range. It was used, for example, to construct the columns in the White House in Washington DC.
Blue in white
The island is washed by the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea. Sea waves reflect the sun's rays and form a magnificent spectrum on the walls of the coastal buildings. Such brilliance makes the white walls sparkle with a blue glow.
