The Art Cement collection is the first proposition for 2021 from the MONOLITH series of large format tiles. Tiles that allow for the creation of interiors unhindered by intensive design, are in line with trends and allow for free interpretation.
The starting point for this collection and the main inspiration for the brand's designers was an abandoned and forgotten space, which is rediscovered after many years. Art Cement, in contrast to many earlier proposals by Ceramika Tubądzin, is not based on rich decorativeness, refined elegance and luxurious design. It's aims towards raw aesthetic with a modern, artistic twist. The collection's clear references to concrete and cement evoke the sparseness of form in industrial interiors and architectural objects, residential lofts and design studios. On the other hand, the characteristic surface of the tiles, with visible traces of formwork removal, combined with interesting colours, add a painterly touch and dynamics to the whole collection.
Art Cement is a proposal for interiors in which the tile provides an expressive, strong background and an element that builds an atmosphere of a raw space. The latest collection will certainly appeal to people who appreciate simple and economical forms. It will also be appreciated by those who look for unusual structural combinations and opt for original design. The collection is perfect for minimalist interiors, combined with furniture with bold, geometric shapes and striking colours. In shades of rusty brown and copper, they will further emphasize the natural tone of the tile, where grey intertwines with warm, sallow colours. Classic black and original lighting will also emphasize the loft character of the composition.
The heterogeneous structure and artistic pattern on the tile are also reminiscent of wabi-sabi - a style that finds beauty in aged textures, materials that are far from perfect, with visible signs of use. It is an acceptance of the natural process of ageing and the passage of time.

The Tubądzin brand offer includes Art Cement Graphite porcelain tile in matt finish, 6 mm thickness and in two sizes: 1198 x 2398 mm and 1198 x 1198 mm. Smaller tiles will become available in coming months: 598 x 598 mm, 798 x 798 mm and 598 x 1198 mm.
