CARNIVAL GOLD IN AN UNOBVIOUS FORM IN TUBĄDZIN COLLECTIONS

CARNIVAL GOLD IN AN UNOBVIOUS FORM IN TUBĄDZIN COLLECTIONS

February 4, 2021

This year's carnival is completely different from the winter parties and balls we know so well. There are no occasions to dress up in refined and shiny gowns, however, we can lighten up the winter grey by choosing golden accents in interior design for our surroundings

Gold is one of the more prominent elements of carnival. According to those who believe in the power of colours, it gives confidence, courage, stimulates creativity and fills with optimism. Like intense yellow (Illuminating), chosen by the Pantone Colour Institute as one of its two shades of the year 2021, gold brings positive energy and freshness to an interior. In combination with calm colours - warm beige or subdued grey in the Ultimate Grey style - it will create a space in which we will feel pleasant, safe and joyful at the same time. Gold and vigorous yellow are sister colours that add sparkle and allow for joy and positive thinking in challenging times. However, it is worth remembering that the excess use of precious metals can give the effect of a heavy, baroque interior.

Ceramika Tubądzin has appreciated the power of gold and accessories in this colour for many seasons. In its collections, the brand keeps in mind both people who seek refined splendour and those who prefer an unobtrusive elegance hidden in details. If you want to introduce only gently glittering accents to your home, it is worth paying attention to the element, which, although inconspicuous at first glance, can significantly change any interior. We are talking about a wall strip, which not only has a decorative function, but when properly arranged can also be used to divide different zones in a room, and even reflect light to optically enlarge it. The metallic, golden shine of the distinctive wall strip blends perfectly with muted, monochromatic shades of brown, beige and grey, as well as with timeless white. Ceramika Tubądzin offers wall strips, which perfectly match both bright, classic bathrooms and bold arrangements going beyond the bathroom space. Depending on the composition, a wall strip can add subtlety and elegance to an interior or emphasize its luxurious character.

In the Balance collection (33 x 90 cm), polished Glass Gold wall strips, combined with neutral colours of the tiles, allow for creating a stylish proposal - subtle or glamorous. The collection itself is inspired by concrete and natural textures. It consists of base tiles in ivory and light grey, as well as three-dimensional wall decoration whose structure resembles patterns of beach sand laid by the wind. The collection also includes mosaics in the shape of hexagons, which allow you to create any combination to achieve the effect of sunny, seaside elegance. Accessories in golden colours will also look great against the mosaic, additionally brightening the room.

In turn, the composition created using tiles from the House of Tones Navy collection (33 x 90 cm) reflects the latest trends in using precious metals in arrangements. It features a combination of wall strips with a golden surface and tiles in deep navy blue tones, which are additionally decorated with a print inspired by the weaves of natural fabrics. Gold accessories such as taps, washbasins and other decorations look great on their background. The entire collection includes as many as four wall strips, one in the colour of steel and the others in shades of gold, brass and copper. They can be used in a traditional form - laying them horizontally, or in an unusual and more daring way - creating decorative vertical stripes.

It's also worth checking out gold-coloured wall strips, paired with large-format tiles. The Black Pulpis collection by Maciej Zień, from the Grand Beauty series, offers an elegance that definitely goes beyond the classic bathroom model and creates a luxurious space in the atmosphere of an exclusive beauty salon.

The dignified, lustrous black of the natural stones, combined with gold wall strips and decorated with a network of irregular white veins, creates an exceptionally decorative background for modern designer accessories and furniture, especially those in colours of precious metals, as well as for very fashionable exotic plants with vibrant colours. This arrangement of space makes the wall strips play a full and equal role here, constituting a strong and distinctive point of decoration.
