TUBADZIN OPENS A NEW SHOWROOM IN ROMANIA AND PLANS FURTHER GROWTH ON FOREIGN MARKETS

2020 has been a difficult and unpredictable year for almost any industry. Despite a difficult market situation, the Tubądzin Group strengthened its leading position. The Group ends the year with successful sales, not only on the Polish market but also by conquering foreign markets. In the picturesque city of Oradea, Romania, the company has just opened an impressive new showroom together with its local partner.

Oradea, which name can be translated as "Great Varadia", is one of the most developed cities in Romania, near the Hungarian border. This is where Interioo, the first showroom of a Romanian distributor of Tubądzin Group products, Todoceram, was opened last month.

The Romanian partner supplies products with the Tubądzin logo to over 700 shops in the country, however, Interioo is its first own showroom offering bathroom equipment products. The whole showroom area is about 1000 m2, of which the space of Tubądzin Ceramics occupies over 40%. Customers will find there absolute novelties - collections in 33 x 90 cm format (Curio, Grunge, Brainstorm and Coma collections), tiles designed by Maciej Zień and the latest large-format products - in bathroom cubicle arrangements and on displays. The Torano collection from the MONOLITH brand can also be seen on the floor throughout the showroom.

The opening of the showroom was attended by local officials and the press. On behalf of the Tubądzin Group, the showroom was opened by Maciej Malinowski, Export Director for Western Markets. The event took place under a strict sanitary regime under which the showroom still operates.

"It would seem that conditions are not conducive to trade. There are fewer customers in showrooms due to sanitary restrictions or temporary shutdowns of retail outlets in particular countries. Nevertheless, Tubądzin can consider the current year a successful one - in the context of sales of our products on foreign markets. Even in a difficult year like 2020, we are close to meeting our annual plan. The past months showed us that despite the rapidly changing reality, Tubądzin, which positions its products in the premium segment, did not lose the support of its loyal customers and gained many new ones. This is a very optimistic forecast for the coming seasons. Consumers who want products of the best quality, that will last for years, bet on quality, precisely in times of depression . This has also been shown by the ever-increasing sales of our tiles abroad - including Romania. In 2021 we plan to expand further, at the moment our products are already available in almost 70 countries." says Maciej Malinowski, Export Director for Western Markets

While conquering new markets, Tubądzin has to take into account local trends and preferences. On the one hand, Romanians appreciate spaces that are in harmony with nature and inspired by it; on the other, they are not afraid to experiment with form and modernity. They still appreciate the Balkan style, full of colour, movement, lucidity and sunshine, but they also want to be up to date with global trends. That is why the Tubądzin Ceramics tiles are so popular in this region
