This year at Cersaie, the Tubądzin Group unveiled exceptional collections created by four outstanding artists: Łukasz "Nawer" Habiera, Malwina Konopacka, Maciej Zień and Dorota Koziara. They each brought a unique vision to cooperation, which was reflected in unrepeatable designs that reflect a synthesis of art, tradition and modern design.
Nawer - harmony of chaos
Nawer, a multidisciplinary artist known for his abstraction-based designs that intertwine the dynamics of urban life with the precision of mathematical structures, has taken his art to a new standard through co-operation with the Tubądzin Group. His innovative works were presented at the Cersaie fair at our brand stand. Here, they caught the eye with a bold combination of colours, geometric forms and multifaceted shapes. The large-format ceramic tiles designed by Nawer were the focal point of the Tubądzin Group presentation, symbolising a modern approach to ceramics in which the juxtaposition of abstraction and the daily life form a balanced entirety. Cooperation with the Tubądzin Group is another step for Nawer in his artistic development, in which ceramics has become a medium to convey his visions.
Malwina Konopacka - applied art in a new dimension
Malwina Konopacka, a designer and illustrator, brings elements of applied art into the world of ceramics. Her collections, featuring a pastel colour palette and unusual forms, go beyond the traditional confines of tile design. At Cersaie, Konopacka demonstrated a collection that combines artistic expression with functionality to deliver unique, harmonious spaces. Her approach to ceramics as an artistic medium gives each element a distinctive touch, and her collaboration with the Tubądzin Group provides an excellent model of the ways in which art can augment daily interiors. The tiles were displayed alongside works for which the artist is known.
Maciej Zień - travel insights
In his works, Maciej Zień, a Polish designer, frequently draws inspiration from travels and different cultures. His latest collections, which premiered at Cersaie, refer to the elegance and atmosphere of luxury hotels, combining a modern feel with timeless flair. Zień, as part of his long-standing collaboration with the Tubądzin Group, has created collections that are both easy on the eye and tell stories about places, emotions and aesthetic experiences. His designs are a sort of tribute to the beauty of the world around us.
Dorota Koziara - "Masovia" as an expression of identity
Dorota Koziara, a designer, art director and exhibition curator, has combined modern design with Polish tradition in her "Masovia" collection inspired by the Mazovia Region. This is another time that the Tubądzin Group has collaborated with the artist. The collection, presented at Cersaie, is a tribute to the cultural heritage of the region, which is dominated by local motifs and colours, transformed into the language of contemporary design. Taking from the folk tradition, Koziara has created tiles featuring a rich range of colours that allow to create a variety of decorative compositions. The intriguing structures and play of light on the surface of the tiles give them depth and a unique look.
Contemporary ceramics - where art and design meet
The partnership of Nawer, Konopacka, Zień and Koziara with the Tubądzin Group proves how versatile approaches to designing ceramic tiles can be. Each of the artists brought a unique style and sensibility to their designs, creating collections that, on the one hand, refer to their individual creative paths and, on the other, perfectly fit in with modern trends in interior design.
This year's Cersaie was a real festival of design, and the projects presented by the Tubądzin Group prove that ceramic tiles can be both a functional element of a space, and a carrier of artistic ideas along with an expression of identity. Once again, the Tubądzin Group demonstrated that working with artists can bring innovative, aesthetic solutions that redefine standards in interior design.
