The Tubądzin Group officially announces the completion of procedures related to the objective and reliable verification of construction products for the Monolith Plus ceramic tile line, carried out by the independent Technical Assessment Body (TAB) at the Catalonia Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC). As a result of the assessment, the company obtained the European Technical Assessment ETA 26/0170, issued on 17 April 2026.
The European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA) is a pan-European organisation bringing together bodies responsible for the technical assessment of construction products. The mission of EOTA is to develop consistent technical specifications for the European construction industry, while supporting innovation and product improvement. In accordance with current provisions, the ETA path is reserved for innovative, non-standard materials that go beyond the current standards for typical materials. Obtaining this document marks an important milestone in the operations of the Tubądzin Group within the EU market. Previously, the use of Monolith Plus tiles in façade systems was based on a National Technical Assessment, which has limited their official recognition to the Polish market only. The ETA enables the products to obtain the CE marking, providing market access to the European Union and the entire European Economic Area. The document also paves the way for sales in Switzerland and Turkey, further expanding the brand’s international reach. With ETA 26/0170, Monolith Plus products have gained a kind of 'European technical passport', which removes local barriers and allows the Tubądzin Group to operate on international markets without the need to undergo separate and complex procedures in each country.
Guarantee of durability and security of investment
Objective European Technical Assessment strengthens credibility, increases market transparency, and builds customer confidence. For architects and developers, the ETA 26/0170 certificate is, above all, a guarantee of safety and durability, as it confirms the stability of the performance characteristics of the product and assumes a service life of at least 25 years. CE marking is also an essential requirement for major international investments and EU-funded projects, where strict adherence to European procedures and technical requirements is a top priority. Contractors, in turn, receive a product that meets the most stringent structural safety standards applicable throughout the European Union, eliminating the need for local certifications and replacing them with a universal standard.
Outstanding Technical Performance
The high technical parameters of Monolith Plus place the product at the forefront of safe finishing materials, as confirmed by its high fire reaction classification of A2-s1,d0 and full frost resistance confirmed after 100 freeze-thaw cycles. Laboratory tests have also demonstrated the exceptional resistance of the material to aggressive chemicals and swimming pool salts, as well as its resistance to thermal shock. The material features extremely low water absorption of just 0.1%, making it almost completely unaffected by moisture — a crucial advantage in demanding public and commercial spaces.
One product, multiple applications
The versatility of the tiles allows them to be used as aesthetic interior and exterior wall cladding, components of façade systems, and durable flooring solutions for floors and staircases. The special construction based on combining ceramic with a layer of reinforcing fibreglass mesh using a special adhesive ensures that even if broken, the tile will not disintegrate into dangerous fragments. The Tubądzin Group, thanks to having its own fiberglass backing line, retains full control over the entire production process, ensuring fast order fulfillment and a comprehensive warranty provided directly by the manufacturer.
