The Tubądzin Group is launching a strategic hub in the heart of Spain’s ceramics cluster

The Tubądzin Group, a leading Polish ceramics manufacturer, has completed an investment in the Onda/Castellón region, a key hub of the global ceramics industry. The launch of this state-of-the-art facility, which combines the functions of a logistics hub and an exhibition and office space, is a strategic step towards optimising the supply chain and enhancing the brand’s competitiveness in southern European markets and in transcontinental exports.

The Tubądzin Group’s new development comprises a two-storey building, designed to house a 400 m² showroom and office, and an adjoining warehouse with a floor area of 1,200 m². Importantly, the Tubądzin Group is the first Polish ceramics manufacturer to have launched its own dedicated logistics and exhibition hub directly within the Spanish ceramics cluster. Its location right at the very heart of this industrial cluster will enable the company to establish a direct presence within the environment in which the world’s leading industry players operate.

The opening of the branch in Onda is part of the Group’s consistently pursued strategy of international expansion. These efforts include both the company’s presence in Spain and the brand’s historic debut earlier this year at the prestigious Salone del Mobile trade fair in Milan, making the Tubądzin Group one of the most active and recognisable Polish ceramics manufacturers on the European market.

Competition is fierce in the Spanish ceramics industry, but we have plenty that sets us apart. Our strength lies in a unique combination of bold design – created in collaboration with leading designers – and cutting-edge technology. It is this combination that enables us to offer customers around the world an unrivalled variety of textures, unique designs and formats that meet the most sophisticated needs of contemporary architecture and interior design, explains Amadeusz Kowalski, Vice-Chairman of the Management Board of the Tubądzin Group.

The investment in Spain has both a strategic and an operational dimension – it is intended to facilitate logistics and improve B2B customer service in new markets. - Until now, logistics has been a barrier that has often prevented us from pursuing cooperation, for example, with partners in Portugal, the south of France or other parts of that region. Now, thanks to the hub in Onda, we are breaking down this barrier and taking things to the next level,” emphasises Maciej Malinowski, Export Director at the Tubądzin Group, responsible for Western European markets.

The new facility in Spain is intended not only to serve as a base for the Iberian market, but also as a key logistical tool enabling projects in overseas markets to be carried out more efficiently.

"At this year’s trade fair in Milan, we received a great deal of encouraging feedback, including from customers across the Americas, who rate our product range very highly. We have received a clear signal that our ceramics confidently compete on the same level as products from leading manufacturers in Spain and Italy. Milan has therefore reinforced our belief that we are ready to take the next step and are opening up more to serving distant, yet highly attractive, markets, adds Maciej Malinowski.

In the new showroom, customers will be able to explore the brand’s extensive portfolio, including its most important and popular collections, as well as lines created in collaboration with leading Polish designers and artists – Malwina Konopacka, Dorota Koziara, Łukasz NAWER Habiera and Maciej Zień.

The Tubądzin Group’s products are currently available at several thousand retail outlets in over 80 countries worldwide.
