The Tubądzin Group, the leading ceramics company, was awarded the prestigious TecnAwards 2024 in the "Best New Tile Factory in Europe" category. The prize-giving ceremony was held during the TECNA 2024 international trade fair in Rimini, Italy. This distinction underlines the company's commitment to the development of the ceramics industry.
The award, sponsored by ACIMAC (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) and the Italian Exhibition Group, demonstrates the achievements of the Tubądzin Group to the European market. The substantial technological innovations made by the company between 2023 and 2024 have allowed it to distinguish itself from its competitors, demonstrating an innovative approach to production, cutting-edge technologies and sustainable development. This has translated into dynamic growth and success in product and process innovation.
"State-of-the-art technological solutions and unique design have always been the cornerstone of our business philosophy. For more than forty years, we have been continuously developing our production capabilities, introducing newer and newer technological solutions and machines in order to ensure the highest quality and optimise the production process," says Mirosław Jędrzejczyk, the President of the Board of the Tubądzin Group.
Mr Jędrzejczyk was also keen to emphasise the company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact: "We have demonstrated our genuine focus on sustainability and ecology through reducing the impact of our manufacturing activities on the surrounding environment. We have recently invested more than 15 million zloty in the construction of photovoltaic farms and joined the Demand Side Response programme to support the viability of the Polish power networks. It is an honour to accept this award on behalf of the entire Tubądzin Group team."
TECNA has been the world's leading event for the process technology, machinery, aesthetics and design related to the ceramics and brick industry for more than 40 years. It provides a reference for all crucial supply chains associated with building materials, architecture and design. It provides insight into the trends that have been revolutionising the technology and sourcing market for all surfaces and materials ranging from the most traditional to the most innovative ones.
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, 25 September, in the "Innovation Arena" conference zone at the Rimini Expo Centre, Italy.
