One of the most important events in the global design calendar is underway. The Tubądzin Group has made a successful debut among the world’s elite, becoming the first Polish ceramics brand in history to do so. The Polish brand proves in Milan that the ceramic tile is a medium that, in the hands of artists, becomes a work of art.
Instead of a traditional product display, architect Kasia Fuks proposed an immersive journey into the world of creators. The Tubądzin brand stand is a presentation of the collection in the form of an authentic artists' studio, where design meets the process of creation. Two expressive entrances, defined by bold cobalt and pastel pink, invite visitors into two different yet aesthetically coherent worlds.
"We have sent a clear message to the world: the Tubądzin Group is a partner to be reckoned with in global design. What we have already encountered on the first day of the fair, and what makes us very happy, is simply sincere admiration - from architects and designers from all over the world, but also those from Poland, who openly express their pride. Our vision of an artist's studio has shown that authenticity in the creative process defends itself, regardless of latitude," emphasises Amadeusz Kowalski, Vice President of the Management Board of the Tubądzin Group.
A stand serving as a living artist’s studio, straight from Poland
The core of the stand consists of zones dedicated to two outstanding creative personalities:
● NAWER Studio: Here mathematical precision and the 'architecture of error' of the MODULAR_GLITCH collection meet the energy of a working studio. Decorations featuring prints of his works on tiles sit alongside the artist's authentic tools - spray paint, markers and coloured papers.
●Dorota Koziara Studio: A space where pure white becomes the backdrop for colourful explorations from the Cielo e Terra and Masovia collections. Monochrome arrangements in the alcoves show how boldly and elegantly color can be used in architecture.
This is where 'Tubądzin Meets Art' resonates best
The next part of the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through diverse styles and applications of ceramics:
●Maciej Zień Zone: A substitute for global residences, where the varied atmospheres of the Lounge and Holiday collections show how tiles define lifestyle and fashion in interiors.
●Art gallery: A curated selection of works by Malwina Konopacka, known for her distinctive play with form and spheres, as well as Ania Rudak and Rafał Olbiński with his monumental painting 'Accidental Lover' on tiles were presented in the form of an art gallery.
More than just cladding: Poland without complexes
The Tubądzin Group, which is a 100 per cent Polish company, shows in Milan that indigenous creativity stands confidently alongside Italian and Spanish giants. More than 40 years of experience has allowed the brand to create a product that goes beyond the definition of a “bathroom tile”. It is a versatile architectural material that represents Poland at Salone del Mobile as a country of innovation and high design culture.
"Our presence at Salone del Mobile is an important test for us and a signal to the market that the Tubądzin Group has matured into a standard-setting brand. We no longer view the world from the perspective of aspiration, but from shared values and a high level of design culture. This extremely positive feedback we are gathering at the stand reinforces our belief that Polish ceramics has something unique to offer today - a combination of craftsmanship, technology and sensitivity that the world has simply come to appreciate," - adds Magdalena Pisera, Marketing Director of the Tubądzin Group.
The Tubądzin Group invites you to experience Polish design together in Milan. The brand's exhibition will be open to visitors until Sunday, 26 April. The stand is located in Hall 10, booth B04.
